It works by means of a direct connection to the Cummins Connected DiagnosticsTM system (for Cummins engines only) to provide advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting for major components on Construction equipment through a single interface. Through Tierra Remote Service, users can display and edit process variables retrieved by CAN-Bus connection.
It is possible to plot and record values graphically, inspect error messages as well as update the firmware. Knowing in advance what issue needs to be addressed, enables you to optimize costs, by knowing exactly how to take action, for example, ordering the spare parts actually needed and planning maintenance to better meet your work and staff schedule.
